Clover is seeking a suitably qualified and detail-oriented Engineering professional to lead the standardisation and improvement of engineering spare parts master data within the Pragma system.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a standardised method of capturing and maintaining spare parts information, ensuring that all relevant details are clearly documented and aligned across the business.

Requirements

• BEng degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Good understanding of engineering processes, maintenance operations and/or spare parts management.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with large volumes of data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Pragma, will be an advantage.
• Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review and analyse existing spare parts master data within Pragma.
• Develop and implement standardised naming conventions and data-capturing guidelines for engineering spare parts.
• Ensure consistent and accurate information is recorded for each item, including:
• Item Type
• Manufacturer
• Specifications and technical details
• Application and intended use
• Associated equipment
• Relevant plant and operational area
• Identify duplicate, incomplete, inaccurate or unclear SKU descriptions and recommend corrective action.
• Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Procurement, Stores and relevant plant teams to validate technical information.
• Establish a sustainable process for creating, updating and maintaining spare parts master data.
• Improve spare parts identification, searchability and traceability to support maintenance planning, procurement and inventory management.
• Monitor data quality and develop reporting mechanisms to track progress and ensure ongoing compliance with the agreed standards.
