MES Developer

Role Overview :

As an Apriso MES Developer, you will serve as a critical technical architect within our manufacturing excellence practice, bridging the gap between complex shop-floor operations and digital transformation.

You will be responsible for designing, configuring, and deploying robust MES solutions that streamline production processes, enhance quality control, and drive operational efficiency for our global clientele.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, plant managers, and IT stakeholders, to translate intricate manufacturing requirements into scalable Apriso workflows.

Your work directly impacts the bottom line by reducing downtime, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing real-time visibility into production performance, ultimately empowering our clients to achieve industry 4.0 maturity.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure and customize Apriso modules to align with specific manufacturing workflows, ensuring seamless integration with ERP and automation systems to optimize plant-wide productivity.

- Develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures to manage data integrity, reporting, and analytics, providing stakeholders with actionable insights into production metrics.

- Lead the end-to-end MES implementation lifecycle, from requirement gathering and solution design to testing and post-go-live support, ensuring projects are delivered within defined timelines.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical bottlenecks within the Apriso environment to minimize operational disruptions and maintain high system availability for end-users.

- Partner with global project teams to document technical specifications and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the organization.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in Apriso MES implementation, with a deep understanding of its core modules and their application in discrete or process manufacturing environments.

- Advanced proficiency in SQL for database management and complex data manipulation, enabling the creation of high-performance reporting solutions.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into precise technical configurations that drive measurable business outcomes.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and facilitate effective collaboration across distributed teams.

- Proven capability to work effectively in a PAN India remote or hybrid setup, maintaining high levels of self-motivation and accountability while managing multiple project workstreams.

- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, complemented by 5 - 8 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing execution systems.
