Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned SAP Basis Consultant to join our technology leadership team in Bangalore. In this capacity, you will serve as the primary architect for our complex SAP landscape, overseeing the stability, performance, and scalability of mission-critical systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional IT teams, global stakeholders, and external partners to drive digital transformation initiatives. Your work will directly influence business continuity and operational efficiency, ensuring that our SAP ECC and S/4 HANA environments provide a seamless, high-performance experience for thousands of end-users worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and execute complex SAP migrations and upgrades to S/4 HANA to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of digital innovation.
- Manage end-to-end system administration, including performance tuning and capacity planning, to guarantee optimal uptime for global business operations.
- Lead high-stakes troubleshooting efforts for critical system incidents, minimizing downtime and protecting business revenue streams.
- Design and implement robust security protocols and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard sensitive corporate data against evolving threats.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance to internal stakeholders, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale SAP ECC and S/4 HANA environments, including complex landscape design and multi-tier architecture.
- Advanced proficiency in database administration and system monitoring, with a proven ability to optimize resource allocation for high-traffic enterprise applications.
- Strong consultative communication skills, enabling you to translate complex technical requirements into actionable business insights for senior leadership.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, characterized by a methodical approach to resolving systemic bottlenecks and performance degradation.
- Proven ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, coordinating effectively with distributed teams across different time zones.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by 12 - 16 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration.
