We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Rebates IP Expert Accountant to join our team.
Purpose of the Role:
The Rebates IP Expert Accountant is responsible for the timely and accurate processing and payment of supplier rebate (vendor-customer) invoices, ensuring compliance with VAT legislation and company accounting policies, and supporting continuous improvement of rebate and accounting processes.
What you’ll be doing:
- Process and pay supplier rebate invoices accurately and on time
- Ensure compliance with local VAT legislation and internal accounting policies and procedures
- Maintain correctness and completeness of suppliers’ accounts
- Support internal and external stakeholders with inquiries related to rebate and accounting processes
- Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in standardization and optimization projects
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and applicable accounting standards
- Manage and prioritize daily workload to meet deadlines efficiently
You can be successful in this role if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting/finance is an advantage, but we also welcome junior candidates and students (3rd-4th year)
- Experience with MS Office;
- SAP knowledge is considered as advantage
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Analytical mindset
- Very good command of English (written and spoken)
- Customer service orientation
- Proactive, well-organized, and able to work independently
- Team player
- Willingness to learn
