.NET Software Developer

We are currently seeking a talented .NET Software Developer to join our client’s banking technology team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of web, middleware, and banking applications. In coordination with other IT teams, you will contribute to the design and development of solutions for both new and existing applications. You will also be part of our client’s IT - Systems Development Section and will collaborate with the team on various projects under the Digital Transformation program.

Our client is a privately owned bank established in Greece in 2002, initially operating as a specialist financier in the Shipping sector, where it quickly gained the trust of participants in this demanding and highly specialized market. Alongside its core Shipping activities, our client has expanded its services into Corporate Finance, Trade Finance, Renewable Energy Lending, Commercial Real Estate Lending, and Private Banking.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain banking applications and peripheral systems.
• Familiar with APIs to secure integration between the various systems of the Bank or external 3rd party platforms.
• Develop and extend middleware applications and front-end of web applications.
• Troubleshoot, debug and test applications.
• Collaborate with the development team to define and design technical solutions.
• Understanding business requirements and working together with other IT teams. Prior experience in Banking industry will be evaluated as an advantage.

Required Qualifications

• Long experience in .NET / C#.
• Long experience with Relational Databases (MS SQL, MySQL, MariaDB).
• Experience in consuming and orchestrating RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Experience of ESB platforms will be considered as an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of low-code platforms.
• Basic knowledge of Linux Systems.
• Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries (HTML/CSS, JavaScript) are highly desirable.
• Git experience will be considered as an advantage.

Education and Experience Requirements

• 1+ years of working experience.
• Candidates with 5+ years of experience in Banking applications/Systems will be evaluated accordingly.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related technical field.
• Excellent command of the English language both written & spoken.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for enterprise application delivery.
• Knowledge of software architecture and common design patterns for scalable and maintainable applications.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and quality assurance practices.
• Exposure to cloud technologies and cloud-based application architectures.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in collaborative development environments.
