About Dynatech Controls
Dynatech Controls Private Limited manufactures precision turned and milled components for overseas customers in aerospace and general engineering, with routine tolerances down to 10 microns. We are AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 certified, and IATF 16949:2016 implementation is planned.

About the Role
The Head – Quality Assurance holds total accountability for the integrity of our quality management system, the confidence our overseas customers place in it, and the conformity of every product we despatch. The role reports directly to the Managing Director. This keeps quality authority independent of production and despatch pressure, and includes the authority to withhold despatch of non-conforming product.

Key Responsibilities
• Act as Management Representative for the integrated AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 quality management system
• Own the quality manual, procedures, policy and objectives; run the internal audit programme and Management Review
• Host certification body, surveillance and customer audits, and own closure of all findings
• Serve as principal quality contact for overseas customers; review, approve and submit 8D and corrective-action responses
• Negotiate containment, deviation and concession requests with customers
• Own new product quality planning, First Article Inspection to AS9102 (including delta FAI), and control plan/PFMEA approval
• Own supplier selection, approval, on-site audits and supplier development
• Control outsourced and in-house special processes (heat treatment, plating, NDT) and counterfeit part prevention
• Act as internal owner of the consultant-led IATF 16949 implementation and build internal core-tool capability (SPC, MSA, FMEA, PPAP, APQP)
• Direct the Line Quality Leader and govern calibration, measurement systems and process capability at facility level
• Lead and develop a quality function of 8–15 personnel across two shifts; track and reduce cost of poor quality

Essential Requirements
• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• 10–14 years of quality experience in precision machining or engineering manufacturing, including at least 3 years leading a quality function
• Demonstrated ownership of an AS9100 QMS, ideally as Management Representative or deputy, including certification maintenance
• Working command of First Article Inspection to AS9102
• Proven experience hosting and defending customer and certification body audits
• Direct experience as principal quality contact for overseas customers, including formal corrective-action submissions
• Substantive supplier quality experience, including vendor audits and supplier development
• Practical control of outsourced special processes (heat treatment, plating, NDT)
• Command of SPC, MSA, FMEA, control plans and structured root cause methodology
• Fluent GD&T and drawing interpretation, with sound understanding of CNC turning/milling and CMM output
• Spoken and written English sufficient to lead audits and correspond directly with overseas customers

Desirable
• Exposure to IATF 16949 implementation or an established automotive quality system
• Certified Lead Auditor for AS9100 and/or ISO 9001
• Awareness of NADCAP requirements and counterfeit part prevention (AS5553)
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
• Experience serving European or North American customers
• Experience implementing a quality module within an ERP
