Your work will improve asset reliability, strengthen cost and investment decisions, and support better asset management across our store network. You will also:

  • Analyse billing, asset, claims, maintenance and service provider performance data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Investigate asset reliability, repeat faults and failure patterns to uncover root causes and inform lifecycle, renewal and replacement decisions.
  • Build and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting with Technology and business teams.
  • Translate operational and asset performance into financial and commercial insights that improve reliability, efficiency and cost outcomes.
  • Establish practical data governance, quality rules and reporting standards across large and evolving datasets.
  • Develop business cases, financial models and executive-ready insights to support investment decisions and practical action.

About you and your skills

You’re a commercially minded, experienced analyst who can work confidently with imperfect data, ask the right questions and turn complexity into a clear story for decision-makers. You’ll enjoy working across operational, technical and commercial teams and using data to influence better decisions in a complex, asset-intensive environment. You will have:

  • Experience in asset-intensive environments such as retail, logistics, facilities management, utilities or building services.
  • Experience with asset, maintenance, engineering or operational data; CMMS/EAM exposure highly regarded.
  • Strong analytical skills across complex datasets to identify trends, risks, root causes and improvement opportunities.
  • Advanced Power BI capability, including dashboard build, development and reporting for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong financial modelling, business case development and commercial analysis skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present clear insights and recommendations to senior leaders.
