Commonwealth Bank of Australia is the country's largest bank, established by federal legislation in 1911 as a government-owned institution and fully privatised by 1996. It serves roughly one in three Australians across retail deposits, home lending, business banking and institutional markets, and holds the largest share of the domestic mortgage market. The bank has invested unusually heavily in technology for its size, rebuilding its core systems and pushing the CommBank application into a broader financial and lifestyle platform, and it runs the venture arm x15ventures to build and buy adjacent digital businesses.

  • Coordinating travel, events, offsites and team activities.

  • Managing expenses, invoices and administrative processes in line with policy requirements.

  • Providing proactive support and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and ways of working.

  • Working closely with leadership team members and Executive Assistants across the Group.

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Proven experience supporting senior executives, ideally at EGM or GM level.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage complex diaries, multiple priorities and changing demands.

  • A proactive approach, with the confidence to anticipate needs and stay one step ahead.

  • Exceptional judgement, discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information.

  • Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • The ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong Microsoft Office capability, with experience leveraging AI-enabled tools viewed favourably.

  • High learning agility and the ability to quickly understand a complex organisation.

If you're a highly capable Executive Assistant who enjoys supporting senior leaders, building strong relationships and making a meaningful impact, we'd love to hear from you.
