Consumer Marketing is a Centre of Excellence (CoE) within the Marketing and Corporate Affairs function at CBA. We directly support the Retail Bank leadership team and deliver toward Retail Bank priorities.

Within the Consumer Marketing CoE is the CommSec, Wealth and Private (W&P) Marketing Chapter, responsible for defining the marketing strategies and plans to execute on the business strategy. We are a passionate team of marketing professionals who plan and deliver world-class marketing initiatives focused on our customers.

Do work that matters

Reporting to the Executive Manager - CommSec, Wealth & Private Marketing, you will be the Senior Marketing Manager, Insurance, and strategic partner to the Insurance leadership team and key delivery crews. You will lead a team that focuses on both ATL and 1:1 communication to deliver integrated customer and business outcomes.

On any given day, you will:

• Lead and evolve the Insurance marketing strategy to drive awareness, consideration, preference, acquisition, and customer engagement.
• Develop and refine its messaging architecture, ensuring a clear and compelling narrative that differentiates our Insurance offering in the market and resonates with target audiences.
• Leverage CommBank internal assets and channels to maximise the coverage and success of the Insurance portfolio.
• Use customer, market and performance insights to identify opportunities, shape marketing priorities and influence proposition and product development.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of marketing managers/specialists.
• Foster a culture of marketing excellence, driving high standards of execution, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all marketing activity.
• Use your negotiation and influencing skills to drive better customer outcomes and influence the roadmap and priorities of relevant squads.

We’d love to hear from people who have:

• Extensive experience leading integrated marketing strategies across brand, acquisition, content and customer engagement disciplines.
• Demonstrated success in driving customer growth and market share through audience-led marketing strategies and commercial outcomes.
• Experience building compelling product and service narratives that connect customer needs with business objectives.
• Insight-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to translate customer, market and performance data into actionable strategies and business outcomes.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a proven ability to align senior leaders and cross-functional teams around shared goals.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, creating an environment of collaboration, accountability and growth.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of ROI/ROMI, campaign effectiveness and budget management.
• A growth mindset, with a passion for solving problems, challenging the status quo and driving continuous improvement.
• Experience working in agile environments and leading cross-functional delivery teams (preferred).
