Junior Accountant

Job Description:

• Perform bank, credit card, petty cash, deposit, and loan account reconciliations
• Manage debtors, including collections, payment arrangements, and aged analysis reporting
• Process and reconcile supplier accounts and accruals
• Maintain accurate financial records through journal processing and account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures
• Process monthly provisions and payment runs
• Manage stock control and inventory records
• Maintain monthly audit files and supporting documentation
• Ensure adherence to financial reporting deadlines
• Prepare accurate financial reports and analyses

Skills & Experience:

• SAIPA articles highly beneficial OR
• Minimum 3 years’ experience performing the accounting function to management accounts
• Xero accounting experience beneficial
• Valid drivers license and car required

Qualification:

• Tertiary qualification in Finance
• SAIPA Articles highly preferred
