Backed by Penta Capital
We are looking for an FP&A Analyst to join our growing finance team. You will be central to our month-end reporting cycle, turning large volumes of financial data from multiple organisations into accurate, timely and well-presented reporting. As the business continues to expand, you will also have the opportunity to support a broad range of finance activities, including budgeting, forecasting and ad-hoc analysis.
This role suits someone who is highly organised, takes pride in accuracy, and is energised by working to firm deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong Excel skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Month-end reporting: Prepare, consolidate and validate financial data from multiple organisations to support monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
- Modelling and forecasting: Maintain and update financial models, budgets and forecasts, ensuring formulas, links and assumptions are accurate and well documented.
- Analysis: Track and analyse KPIs, investigate variances, and summarise findings clearly for senior finance staff.
- Presentation of results: Build and refine reports and presentations for management, ensuring consistent formatting and accuracy.
- Data integrity: Perform reconciliations and data updates in financial systems, and maintain the integrity and organisation of financial databases.
- Planning and delivery: Manage competing deadlines across multiple entities, keeping files, trackers and version control in good order.
- Ad-hoc and improvement: Support ad-hoc analysis, projects and process improvements, including opportunities to automate recurring tasks.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- A recognised degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in finance, accounting or FP&A.
- Experienced in preparing management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, and presentations.
- Advanced Excel skills, including lookup functions (XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH), SUMIFS, PivotTables and working efficiently with large datasets. Experience with Power Query is advantageous.
- Proficiency in the wider Microsoft 365 suite, particularly PowerPoint and Word, for clear, professional reporting.
- Exceptional organisation and attention to detail, with a proven ability to deliver accurate work to strict timelines.
- Comfortable working across multiple entities or organisations, and managing differing requirements, data formats and priorities.
- Familiarity with financial reporting processes and accounting systems (e.g. Xero, Fathom).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and a collaborative approach to working with a team in a different location.
- Experience with Power BI, including building or maintaining dashboards and reports.
