Job Description:

Install, service and maintain industrial automation and conveyor systems
Diagnose and resolve electrical and control system faults
Perform fault-finding on PLCs and VSDs
Carry out preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
Provide technical support at client sites and complete service reports
Participate in standby duties and breakdown call-outs

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in industrial automation servicing and maintenance
Experience with conveyors, material handling or warehouse automation advantageous
PLC and VSD fault-finding experience
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
Good communication skills and the ability to work professionally with clients
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally
Ability to work independently and participate in standby duties every fifth week

Qualifications:

National Diploma, BTech or relevant trade-tested qualification in an electrical or automation-related field
