Join Compass, a leading real estate technology company, as a Software Engineer. In this role, you will work on the only end-to-end platform in the real estate industry, helping to improve every step of the real estate agent's experience. You will design and build distributed, event-driven microservices, lead complex projects, and become a subject matter expert in your domain. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of software engineering experience, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience with cloud-based services.

Missions

Conception, design, and implementation of distributed, event-driven microservices.
Leading the delivery of complex projects, performing code reviews, and writing high-quality tests.
Owning and operationally improving services throughout their lifecycle, and identifying and removing bottlenecks.

Profil recherché

- 2+ years of software engineering experience with languages such as Java or Golang

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Hands-on experience with cloud-based services (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization, microservices architecture, and continuous integration and delivery

- Experience with Kafka and Ruby on Rails is a plus

- Experience designing and building cloud-based services

- BS in CS or equivalent practical experience
