Technical Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Lead the development and enhancement of microservices-based applications, ensuring high availability, resiliency, and maintainability.
• Build and support event-driven architectures using Kafka and other messaging technologies.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
• Deploy, manage, monitor, and troubleshoot applications running on Kubernetes (K8s).
• Drive technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and code quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver robust solutions.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to improve application efficiency and scalability.
• Champion engineering best practices across development, testing, CI/CD, observability, and operational excellence.
• Mentor team members and foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing microservices-based applications.
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging/event-streaming platforms.
• Expertise in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and containerized application deployment.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, code versioning systems, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of application performance tuning, troubleshooting, and scalability principles.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, perform code reviews, and guide development teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration environments.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of security best practices for distributed systems and APIs.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and team leadership capabilities.
