Technical Project Manager - Enterprise AI Platform

Role Overview :
This role drives delivery across a team spanning cloud and platform infrastructure, model serving, gateway software, design and field engineering, against milestone commitments that involve both a hardware vendor and enterprise customers. You need enough technical depth to understand what a cluster upgrade, a Helm release, a gateway metering change or a model bundle rollout involves, so that plans are realistic, and blockers are recognized early. You are not expected to be hands-on in every area, but you are expected to know when an estimate is fiction.
Minimum Requirements :
- Strong command of Agile delivery practice, including requirement gathering, sprint planning, estimation, sequencing, and dependency management.
- Demonstrated delivery of technical infrastructure or platform projects, not application feature delivery alone.
- Working understanding of Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and enterprise deployment processes at a functional level.
- Familiarity with SRE and operations practice : release and upgrade management, incident, problem and change management, and production readiness.
- Ability to understand the responsibilities and technical blockers of different engineering disciplines and to plan around them.
- Strong dashboard, reporting, and stakeholder-management capability.
- Experience managing delivery across organizational boundaries such as vendors, partners, or customer teams.
- Excellent customer and stakeholder communication, including under escalation, strong coordination without formal authority, and the willingness to challenge a plan that does not hold up.
Preferred Requirements :
- Experience delivering AI, ML or data platform programmes.
- Experience in a managed-services or partner-delivery model with contractual milestones.
- Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM or SAFe.
- Exposure to Kubernetes or cloud administration at a hands-on level earlier in your career.
- Experience managing on-call and operational readiness transitions from project delivery into a steady state.
