Cashier

Responsibilities:

• Process cash, bank transfers, POS, and other electronic payments accurately and efficiently.
• Receive payments from customers and issue appropriate receipts for all transactions.
• Record daily sales transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Reconcile daily sales records with cash received and electronic payment transactions.
• Verify customer payments and confirm successful transactions before completing sales.
• Attend to customer enquiries and provide prompt, courteous, and professional service.
• Maintain an organised, clean, and welcoming checkout area.
• Identify and report cash shortages, payment discrepancies, and transaction errors to management.
• Ensure all sales transactions are properly documented and recorded in the company's system.

Requirements:

• A minimum of  years of experience
  
• A minimum of an OND in a related field
