ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

JOB SUMMARY:

The QA Automation Engineer is a key member of the Product Development team that brings a keen focus on quality and user experience, problem solving skills, and automation expertise into every aspect of our software development and delivery process. They identify and define process improvements, perform product testing, continuously improve quality, and ensure software testing best practices are used.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop test strategies for new system functionality.

• Introduce and support use of automation tools and frameworks as needed for successful delivery.

• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams, in an Agile/SCRUM environment, to develop a comprehensive set of tests.

• Implement automated tests for both functional testing (new functionality) and regression testing (existing functionality).

• Assist with manual and exploratory testing as needed for successful delivery.

• Analyze failed tests, produce reports, and manage defects using the defect tracking tool.

• Diagnose failures and gather comprehensive information to assist in defect resolution.

• Align conduct with the Company’s Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and support the Company’s Ethics and Compliance Program.

• Comply with all internal policies and procedures.

• Actively participate in Company provided training and education.

• Ensure individual compliance with all privacy and security rules and regulations and commit to the protection of all Company confidential information, including but not limited to, Personal Health Information.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years of software testing experience with focus on automation, in a web-based, cloud-hosted enterprise application.

• Deep hands-on experience using modern test automation tools and frameworks for web-based application and RESTful APIs.

• Good practical knowledge of a programming or scripting language (TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, C#).

• Familiar with SQL scripting, preferably in a Microsoft SQL Server environment.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field.

• Selenium with C# is required

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Background in the medical or pharmaceutical fields is a plus

• Knowledge of medical coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCC) is a great plus

• Experience with AI-powered testing tools and frameworks

• Prior experience in healthcare IT

• Knowledge of cloud computing (Windows Azure, Amazon Web Services, etc.)

• Knowledge of DevSecOps tools and pipelines

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The ability to perform work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours a day and function in an environment with constant interruptions is required. Team Member may experience elevated levels of stress during periods of increased activity and with work entailing multiple deadlines.
