Staff Software Development Engineer

Requirements:

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience Strong proficiency in Java-based backend development.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Experience building event-driven architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience designing and scaling high-throughput systems handling large volumes of events.
• Experience working with AWS-managed databases (e. g., Aurora or similar OLTP systems).
• Familiarity with containerized systems and Kubernetes ecosystems.
• Experience building real-time systems (e. g., usage tracking, billing, and metering pipelines).
• Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and reliability principles.

Mandatory Skill Set:

• Must have experience in the FinTech (Finance) domain, preferably in Billing or Monetization.
• Must have experience in any Cloud technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Java/Golang for backend development.
• Deep expertise in the AWS ecosystem (compute, storage, distributed services).
• Experience designing large-scale event processing systems (hundreds of millions to billions of events).
• Experience building cloud commerce platforms, billing systems, or pricing engines.
• Familiarity with real-time usage metering, invoicing, or revenue systems.
• Experience working with Kubernetes-based observability signals (logs, infra events, metrics).
• Exposure to high-growth systems scaling from early stages to large production scale.
• Experience building multi-tenant, customer-facing cloud platforms.
