We’re a fast-growing tech company building AI-native software for the self-storage industry. Backed by an exceptional group of investors, trusted customers, and 25+ leading industry advisors – including our recent $63M Series A – we have the resources and long-term mindset to build things the right way, scale thoughtfully, and create real impact.
Self-storage is the fastest growing asset class in commercial real estate – surpassing $65 billion annually in the U.S. last year. There are more than 77,000 self-storage properties in North America, operated by more than 35,000 independent business owners who provide service to tenants. Cubby’s mission is to empower self-storage operators – from small and medium family-owned businesses to large corporate clients – by streamlining operations, optimizing processes, and reducing administrative effort, so they can focus on growing their businesses.
Why we want youCubby is building software that helps self-storage operators run and grow their businesses, while creating better experiences for their tenants. Hundreds of thousands of renters interact with our platform, and every operator we serve depends on it to grow. Our platform supports operators across different aspects of their businesses, from day-to-day operations and customer management to payments, automation, and growth. It’s a combination of powerful business software and customer-facing experiences that need to be reliable, intuitive, and scalable across hundreds of different operators.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to own product initiatives end to end, balancing customer needs, business impact, and technical opportunities. You’ll work closely with a designer and an engineering lead, accountable for the outcomes your product area delivers.
Responsibilities- Own the product roadmap end to end, balancing customer needs, experience improvements, and the bigger bets that compound over time.
- Drive product improvements by identifying and removing friction across key user journeys and workflows.
- Drive self-serve adoption and improve customer experiences through features that reduce manual work, deflect support, and improve efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to improve product adoption, engagement, and business growth.
- Stand up the instrumentation, dashboards, and experiment cadence that show what’s working, where users drop off, and which bets are paying back.
- Stay close to operators and users through research and early-access programs, and bring AI into the product where it earns its place, like smarter workflows, guided experiences, and faster support.
- 6+ years of product management experience with a track record of shipping work that moved real metrics, ideally in B2B SaaS, consumer commerce, or growth.
- Bonus for experience with conversion funnels, checkout, billing, marketplaces, subscriptions, or configurable/embeddable platforms.
- A conversion and experimentation mindset: fluent with funnel metrics and A/B testing, and willing to let the data change your mind.
- Strong data fluency, comfortable pulling and combining quantitative and qualitative signal to make decisions.
- Care for different types of users, understanding both their needs and the business outcomes they depend on.
- Enough technical fluency to reason about architecture and tradeoffs with engineers and stay credible in the details.
- Comfortable with ambiguity. You set clear goals, make progress without a perfect brief, and bring people with you.
- Clear written and verbal communication. You’re the source of clarity for your squad and everyone around it.
- AI is already part of how you work, not a box you tick.
- Real ownership of a category-defining product – Cubby is building software for a $50B industry that’s barely been touched by good technology. You’ll set the direction, not inherit it.
- A team that punches above its weight – Small squads, short cycles, strong engineering partners, and a direct line to the people making the calls.
- Impact you can see – Your work shows up in how hundreds of thousands of people interact with our platform and how 400+ operators grow their businesses, usually within weeks, not quarters.
- An excellent team environment surrounded by experienced high-impact peers in every function
- Generous remuneration package
- Options/Shares incentive program based on contribution
- Additional health insurance
- Multisport card
- Development of novel product and systems from scratch, with a minimum of legacy integration work
- Company-sponsored team building activities and events
- Company-sponsored lunch once a week
- Biannual performance and growth reviews
- Opportunities to work and connect with the team in New York
- Remote work from any location worldwide for two weeks annually
