Senior Software Testing Engineer

We are looking for a Software Testing Engineer with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in software testing to join our team.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle and be able to analyze requirements, prepare test scenarios and test cases, execute different testing cycles, report defects clearly, and contribute to improving overall product quality.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and understand business and functional requirements.
Design, document, and execute test scenarios and test cases.
Perform Manual Testing, including Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, and End-to-End testing.
Work with project and testing documentation such as BRD, FRD, Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Reports, and UAT documents.
Perform API Testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
Validate API requests, responses, status codes, authentication, and business flows.
Have hands-on experience in Test Automation using Playwright.
Be able to build and maintain reusable automation scripts for regression and end-to-end scenarios.
Have experience with Performance Testing using tools such as Apache JMeter and/or Locust.
Understand concepts such as Load Testing, Stress Testing, Spike Testing, and performance result analysis.
Have good knowledge of SQL and database validation.
Experience with MySQL is preferred.
Be able to identify, reproduce, document, and track defects with clear steps, expected results, actual results, and supporting evidence.
Experience using Jira or similar bug-tracking tools is preferred.
Experience with test-management tools such as Xray, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar tools is a plus.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 year of experience in software testing.
Experience using Generative AI or AI-assisted testing/development tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar technologies.
Experience using AI for test case generation, automation support, requirement analysis, documentation, or defect investigation.
Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git is an advantage.
Good analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Leadership skills and customer interface
We are looking for someone who is not only able to execute predefined test cases, but can also understand the business flow, identify risks, design effective test coverage, automate critical scenarios, validate APIs and databases, and contribute to the overall quality of the solution.
