Manufacturing Team Leader
We are looking for a Manufacturing Team Leader to join our Christchurch, Dorset team!
As a Manufacturing Team Leader for our Christchurch location, you will be responsible for understanding and adhering to documented business processes and requirements, including but not limited to the company Quality Management system (QMS) and ensure the same of each member of your team. Take a lead role in investigation and resolution of production related issues, as appropriate, including identification and resolution of Root Cause(s)

Your Challenge
- Lead a team responsible for the Assembly, Test, Inspection, Rework and Repair of product to support achievement of the business goals and objectives in the area's of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost
- Understand and adhere to documented business processes and requirements, including but not limited to the company Quality Management system (QMS) and ensure the same of each member of your team
- Take a lead role in investigation and resolution of production related issues, as appropriate, including identification and resolution of Root Cause(s)
- Complete HR related tasks and administration as necessary for smooth operation of the team
- Support your team and the wider business in the creation of a Safe, Collaborative and Productive environment through active use of provided tools and processes
- Support the area Supervisor in the completion of their duties as and when required
What You Bring
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
- Minimum 3 years experience in electronic/pneumatics engineering and electrical/mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment and/or appropriate Qualification(s)
- Experience Leading a diverse multi-skilled manufacturing team
- A working knowledge of MRP systems
- Relevant experience in an Aerospace Manufacturing environment

As the design center of excellence for flight recorders and air data computers, the units had to be lightweight and small - crash survivability requirements exceeding the existing standards for commercial aircraft.
