Role Description The Information Technology Support Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for providing technical assistance to internal teams and external clients. Day-to-day tasks include responding to support tickets, diagnosing hardware and software issues on desktop computers, and resolving IT incidents in a timely and professional manner. The specialist will manage help desk inquiries, escalate complex issues when needed, and document solutions and procedures for future reference. The role also involves maintaining system performance, assisting with user onboarding and access management, and collaborating with other IT and business teams to ensure reliable, secure technology environments. Clear communication, customer-focused support, and consistent follow-through are critical to success in this position.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Technical Support and Help Desk Support skills, with experience handling user requests and resolving incidents.
• Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting and Desktop Computers skills to diagnose and fix hardware, operating system, and application issues.
• Candidates should possess a broad understanding of Information Technology concepts, including basic networking, security awareness, and common business applications.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent are beneficial.
• Experience supporting remote users and working in distributed teams is preferred.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, follow documented procedures, and maintain accurate records of support activities.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
