Role Description The Software Engineer role at D2N Solutions is a full-time, remote position focused on designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that support clients across diverse technology domains. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, implementing back-end services and APIs, and integrating systems with databases and cloud infrastructure. The Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, participate in technical design discussions, and ensure solutions meet performance, security, and scalability standards. The role also involves troubleshooting and debugging issues, conducting code reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of development practices and tools. The Software Engineer is expected to document technical designs and processes, stay current with emerging technologies, and support the delivery of reliable, high-quality software for client projects.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or similar).
• Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and server-side frameworks.
• Practical knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns, and their application in large-scale systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices such as code reviews and CI/CD workflows.
• Understanding of security, performance optimization, and scalability considerations in distributed or cloud-based environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively in a remote, team-oriented setting.
