Compliance Associate

We are partnering with a leading global investment management firm to appoint a Compliance Associate to support its Asia Pacific business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a compliance professional with investment management experience to join an established international platform, supporting regulatory compliance, governance and risk management activities across the region.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Oversee compliance calendars, registers and regulatory obligations, including MAS and ASIC filings, attestations and periodic reviews.
2. Support the development and review of compliance policies, procedures and regulatory updates.
3. Coordinate regulatory filings, audits, licensing matters and client due diligence requests.
4. Conduct AML/KYC due diligence on investors and counterparties, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
5. Assist with compliance monitoring, testing, marketing material reviews and regulatory reporting.
6. Support compliance training, onboarding, record-keeping and regional or global initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate:

1. Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, Business, Finance or a related discipline, with at least 3 years of relevant compliance experience within investment management.
2. Good understanding of the investment management industry, with familiarity in MAS and/or ASIC regulatory requirements. Real estate experience would be advantageous.
3. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across regional and global teams.
5. Proactive, adaptable and comfortable embracing new technologies, including AI-enabled tools and workflows.
