As part of our continued expansion, we are recruiting Data Centre Technicians to support multiple mission-critical data centre projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We are looking for experienced professionals from Electrical, Medium Voltage, HVAC, Mechanical Cooling, Controls and BMS backgrounds who are passionate about delivering operational excellence within critical environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate, monitor and maintain critical data centre infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
  • Carry out planned preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, HVAC, cooling, BMS, controls and medium voltage systems depending on your area of expertise.
  • Monitor critical equipment through BMS, DCIM and plant monitoring systems, responding quickly to alarms and operational issues.
  • Perform routine inspections, equipment readings and operational walkdowns across data centre facilities.
  • Troubleshoot faults, diagnose equipment issues and support the safe restoration of critical systems.
  • Support emergency response activities, equipment shutdowns, start-ups and incident recovery following approved operating procedures.
  • Work safely within Permit to Work (PTW), Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, shift logs and CMMS work orders.
  • Work closely with engineers, vendors and contractors during maintenance activities and project works.
  • Support commissioning activities, system testing and operational readiness for new data centre facilities.
  • Participate in a 24/7 rotating shift pattern, including nights, weekends and on-call support as required for mission-critical operations.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience within mission-critical environments such as Data Centres, Power Generation, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, Hospitals or similar critical facilities.
  • Technical qualification, Diploma or Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Building Management Systems (BMS), Controls, Medium Voltage or a related discipline.
  • Experience maintaining or operating critical infrastructure including UPS, generators, switchgear, medium voltage systems, CRAC/CRAH units, chilled water systems, cooling plants, BMS or DCIM platforms.
  • Good understanding of preventive maintenance, fault finding and safe isolation procedures.
  • Experience working with CMMS systems and maintaining accurate maintenance documentation.
  • Knowledge of PTW, LOTO and Health & Safety procedures within industrial or critical environments.
  • Ability to work within a rotating 24/7 shift environment and respond to emergency call-outs where required.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Previous data centre experience is highly desirable but not essential for candidates with strong critical facilities experience.
  • Industry certifications such as CDCTP, First Aid, HSE, LOTO or relevant OEM training would be advantageous.
