Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for data center projects. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, data center infrastructure, and the ability to manage complex projects from concept to completion.

• Design electrical systems for data centers, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and backup power systems.
• Develop detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts using CAD software.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
• Lead electrical design projects from initial concept through to final completion.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and project managers.
• Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather project requirements and constraints.
• Perform load calculations, short circuit analysis, and coordination studies.
• Specify and select electrical equipment and components.
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Ensure all designs are tested and validated to meet performance and safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, including design reports, specifications, and as-built drawings.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in electrical design engineering, with a focus on data center projects.
• Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP).
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
• Experience with power distribution systems, UPS, generators, and switchgear.
