Mid-Senior Crypto Developer

About the Role

We are looking for experienced Mid-Senior Crypto Developers to join a technology team in Warsaw, working on enterprise-grade cryptocurrency, blockchain and digital payments solutions.

The role combines strong software engineering with hands-on knowledge of blockchain technologies, distributed systems and secure application development. Send Cv to [email protected] if you are interested

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade crypto and blockchain-based products.

  • Build scalable, high-performing distributed systems, APIs and orchestration layers.

  • Develop and maintain third-party integrations.

  • Drive end-to-end software development from architecture and design through deployment and production support.

  • Develop and enhance backend services using Java and modern engineering practices.

  • Collaborate with frontend teams using Angular.

  • Ensure application security, reliability, monitoring and high availability.

  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks and software quality standards.

  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders on digital payments and financial-services solutions.

  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and continuously improve system performance and scalability.

  • Stay current with blockchain, cryptocurrency and financial-technology developments.

Key Requirements

  • 12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's degree OR 8+ years of relevant experience with an advanced degree such as a Master's, MBA, JD or MD.

  • Strong experience building scalable, high-performing distributed systems.

  • Experience with APIs, orchestration layers and third-party integrations.

  • Strong understanding of monitoring, alerting and high-availability environments.

  • Strong experience across the Secure Software Development Lifecycle, including:

    • Version control

    • CI/CD

    • Unit testing

    • Performance testing

  • Strong understanding of blockchain technologies, both public and permissioned.

  • Understanding of DeFi applications and blockchain security protocols.

  • Knowledge of private-key custody and distributed ledgers.

  • Experience/knowledge across technologies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and Hyperledger.

  • Strong understanding of Solidity, Assembly and EVM technologies.

  • Experience within payments and financial services, including payments ecosystems, payment-processing flows and compliance.

  • Strong communication, facilitation and leadership skills.

Highly Preferred

  • Blockchain, crypto, fintech or payments domain experience.

  • Backend development using Java.

  • Frontend development using Angular.

  • Full-stack software development experience.

Important

Candidates must be able to work hybrid in Warsaw, 1-3 days per week onsite and be comfortable completing a coding assessment as part of the recruitment process.
