Role Overview
We are looking for a Director of FP&A to build and lead financial planning and analysis at DeepInfra. You’ll develop a deep understanding of the economics of AI inference - from GPU capacity and data center commitments to token-level pricing and customer usage - and turn that understanding into the plans, forecasts, and insights that guide how we grow.
You’ll own the consolidated financial model, lead planning and board reporting, and help shape how we evaluate and finance long-term infrastructure investments. You’ll work closely with our co-founders, Engineering, Sales, and Finance to make foundational decisions about where we invest and how we scale.
We’re looking for someone rigorous, commercially minded, and equally comfortable building a model from scratch, digging into the underlying drivers of the business, and communicating insights to senior leadership and the board.
What You’ll Do
Analytics & Insight
- Unit Economics: Develop a deep understanding of DeepInfra’s unit economics - including compute cost, GPU utilization, pricing, and margins across models, products, and customer segments - and translate your analysis into actionable insights and recommendations.
Corporate Planning
- Consolidated Financial Model: Own the integrated P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow model.
- Forecasts & Budgets: Lead rolling forecasts, operating budgets, and headcount planning.
- Revenue & Bookings: Build and maintain revenue and bookings forecasts that reflect both self-serve usage and enterprise commitments.
Board & Investor Reporting
- Executive Dashboards: Architect monthly operating dashboards that give leadership a clear and timely view of business performance.
- Board & Investor Reporting: Build financial materials for board meetings and investor reporting.
Systems Architecture
- Scalable Tooling: Implement and automate FP&A, BI, and reporting infrastructure to reduce manual data extraction and enable faster, more scalable reporting.
- AI-Enabled Finance: Use AI and automation to improve the speed and efficiency of planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting.
Vendor & CapEx Commitments
- Infrastructure Diligence: Lead financial diligence on major vendor and CapEx commitments, including lease-vs.-buy analyses.
- Capital Planning: Build structured debt and equity capacity models to evaluate how we finance long-term infrastructure investments.
What You Bring
- Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience across FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or related finance roles. Experience in a high-growth technology company is strongly preferred.
- Modeling Depth: Exceptional financial modeling skills, including three-statement modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis. You can build a model from scratch and clearly explain and defend the assumptions behind it.
- Business Acumen: Strong ability to understand complex business models, identify their key economic drivers, and translate operational data into financial insights. Experience with cloud infrastructure, usage-based, or capital-intensive businesses is a strong plus.
- Strategic Finance: Experience evaluating significant investments, CapEx, financing, or other strategic financial decisions is a plus.
- Executive Communication: Ability to turn complex financial analysis into clear, decision-useful narratives for senior leadership, boards, and investors.
- Systems Mindset: Experience working with FP&A, BI, or financial reporting tools, with a strong interest in using automation and AI to improve how finance operates.

Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $200,000 - $290,000 per year.
