Cybersecurity Testing Coordinator

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Testing Coordinator to join our Nordic Cybersecurity Assurance team. Your team

You will be part of the Internal Deloitte Nordic Cybersecurity Assurance Team, not Client-facing function. You will be part of a fun & collaborative team that are truly passionate about our work in securing Deloitte & our clients. We are a team spread across the Nordic countries, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. Nordic Cybersecurity Assurance Team is part of bigger Nordic CISO’s function which covers areas such as Governance, Risk and Compliance, Security Architecture, Cybersecurity Assurance and Operations.

Your assignments

As Cybersecurity Testing Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the security testing program across the Nordics, and act as the central point of contact for Penetration Testing and Automated Application Testing of our internal systems and applications, ensuring a consistent, efficient, and compliant approach.

Success in this role depends on a balanced ability to manage both the operational processes and the human elements of a testing program. You will:

• Coordinate and schedule Penetration Testing and Automated Application Testing engagements for internal systems, including scoping and liaising with internal teams and external testing providers
• Maintain the inventory of applications and systems in scope for mandatory security testing, including testing frequency and coverage status
• Track and follow up on remediation of findings with system owners, and manage the exception process where remediation cannot be completed within agreed timelines
• Own the budgeting for security testing activities, including forecasting, vendor cost tracking, and reporting on spend
• Prepare and present regular reports and dashboards on testing coverage and remediation progress for leadership and governance bodies
• Continuously identify and implement improvements to the testing coordination process to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness

Professional:

• Degree in information/Cybersecurity or information technology
• You have minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a cybersecurity function, with a solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals
• High-level understanding of security testing tools and methodologies (e.g., vulnerability scanners, web application testing tools) and common vulnerability classes (OWASP Top 10, CVSS). This role does not require you to perform penetration tests yourself
• Understanding of AI and emerging technologies, and how they affect security risk and testing landscape
• Knowledge of risk management and risk analysis, including risk acceptance and exception handling
• Experience of external security accreditations, such as ISO 27001
• Knowledge of any programming language, SDLC processes, CI/CD pipelines and git
• Relevant certification such as CompTIA Security+, ISC2 CC, SSCP, CEH, or CRISC is an advantage - or intent to pursue one
• You have effective business communication skills to inform, partner, influence and manage key stakeholders across technical teams, system owners and testing vendors
• You write and speak English fluently
• You understand the importance of cultural background - especially differences between the Nordic countries.
