Role Overview :
As an IBM Consultant, you will serve as a lead technical advisor, bridging the gap between intricate IBM software ecosystems and specific business requirements.
You will engage directly with senior client stakeholders to architect, deploy, and optimize enterprise-grade solutions that drive operational efficiency.
Your day-to-day involves leading technical workshops, overseeing complex implementation lifecycles, and ensuring that our solutions align with the long-term strategic goals of our clients.
By providing expert guidance on IBM platforms, you will directly influence the stability and performance of mission-critical systems for our enterprise partners.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and architect scalable IBM-based solutions that address complex integration challenges for enterprise-level clients to ensure seamless system interoperability.
- Lead end-to-end implementation projects, managing technical delivery from initial requirement gathering to final deployment and post-go-live support.
- Conduct deep-dive technical assessments of existing client infrastructure to identify bottlenecks and propose high-impact optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to translate business objectives into robust technical specifications and project roadmaps.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and performance tuning for IBM software environments to maintain high availability and system reliability for end-users.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in architecting and managing IBM enterprise software suites, with a deep understanding of system integration, middleware, and cloud migration strategies.
- Proven ability to lead technical discussions with C-suite stakeholders and project managers, articulating complex technical concepts in a clear, business-focused manner.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose systemic issues and implement sustainable, long-term technical solutions.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of fostering collaborative relationships within diverse, multi-disciplinary teams across different geographic locations.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by relevant IBM professional certifications.
- Flexibility to operate effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing independent technical work with active participation in client-facing meetings in Mumbai and other regional hubs.
