Key responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure Management:
  • Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on leading cloud providers, ensuring high availability, reliability, scalability, and robust security.
  • Assist in designing cost-effective solutions and services, ensuring value is measured, tracked, and realized at key delivery points.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep, or others.
  • Monitor and optimise cloud resource utilisation for performance and cost-effectiveness.
• DevOps Practices and Automation:
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, or similar tools.
  • Automate application build, testing, and deployment processes to streamline delivery cycles, continuously increasing developer productivity and delivered quality.
  • Automate maintenance tasks such as patching, updates, and backups, focusing on reducing manual activities while ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions to increase system visibility and enable faster response to events.
• Operational Support:
  • Monitor system performance using modern monitoring tools to provide advanced insights and analytics.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in cloud and application environments, and assist in restoring normal operations.
  • Implement disaster recovery and backup solutions to ensure business continuity.
  • Support internal and external customers with technical issues.
• Security and Compliance:
  • Apply best practices for securing cloud resources, including identity management, network security, and data security.
  • Support compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration and Support:
  • Work closely with development, operations, QA, and security teams to align cloud infrastructure with application needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to team members.
  • Contribute to the improvement of processes and DevOps best practices across the organization.
  • Document solutions, processes, and tools of high quality.
  • Engage in continuous improvement following the company's internal education program.
