AI Mobile Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Mobile Test Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of AI-powered mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in mobile application testing, automation frameworks, and validating AI-driven features such as conversational AI, recommendations, personalisation, and intelligent workflows. This role requires expertise in manual and automated mobile testing, API validation, and a strong understanding of AI/ML-enabled application behaviour.

The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:

Mobile Application Testing:

• Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and performance testing for Android applications and iOS applications.
• Validate end-to-end mobile application workflows and user journeys.

AI Feature Validation:

• Test AI-powered functionalities, including Chatbots and conversational AI, AI recommendations and personalisation, Voice and NLP-based interactions, AI-generated responses and workflows.
• Validate AI outputs for: Accuracy, Relevance, Consistency, Bias and edge-case handling.

Test Automation:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Appium and Selenium.
• Espresso / XCUITest.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.

API and Backend Testing:

• Validate REST/GraphQL APIs supporting mobile applications.
• Perform API automation and integration testing.
• Verify backend-AI-mobile interaction workflows.

Performance and Security Testing:

• Conduct: Mobile app performance testing.
• Load and stress testing.
• Compatibility testing across devices and OS versions.
• Validate application security and data privacy standards.

Collaboration and Defect Management:

• Work closely with: Mobile developers, AI/ML engineers, Product managers.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and release validation.

The core requirements for the job include the following:

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience in Android and iOS mobile testing, Mobile automation frameworks (Appium preferred).
• Hands-on experience with: API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc. ), Test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail).

AI / Generative AI Exposure:

• Understanding of: AI/ML application behaviour, LLM/chatbot workflows, NLP-based applications.
• Experience testing AI-driven user experiences is preferred.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 4-7 years of QA/testing experience.
• Experience in mobile automation and AI-enabled products preferred.
