DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with a proactive approach to ownership, driving initiatives and ensuring high-quality outcomes that align with both technical and product goals.

Responsibilities:

• Be working primarily on a set of digital products focused on consumer-facing containerised web and mobile applications, content streaming, distributed data stores, data engineering and analytics, serverless functions, and hosting of APIs.
• Be responsible for doing all the technical implementation as per the requests in JIRA for different self-hosted and managed resources on AWS in an automated fashion, using the best practices of DevOps, security, and cost optimisation.
• Be creating all the automation scripts in Gitlab and be aware of the Gitflow model for pull requests.
• Create documentation for everything Cloud DevOps in Confluence.
• Be a self-driven individual contributor, aware of Agile Scrum methodology, to participate in project activities.

Requirements:

• Graduate with 3-5 years of relevant work experience in AWS and DevOps.
• Extremely knowledgeable on Linux, Shell Scripting, AWS core services (VPC, EC2 S3 IAM, RDS), Amazon EKS/Kubernetes, ArgoCD, GIT, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Regular use of AI tools for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Terraform and AWS CLI scripting, with the ability to refine AI-generated configurations and validate changes using practices such as `terraform plan` and dry runs.
• Strong operating system fundamentals with a focus on performance optimisation and reliability of the system.
• Good to have experience working with distributed systems and databases (SQL, NoSQL, and Cache), stream processing (Kafka), message queuing (RabbitMQ), and search and analytics platforms (ELK).
