Director of Product

We are looking for a Director - Product with strong experience building and scaling high-volume B2C/D2C consumer-facing products. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across Homepage, Personalisation, Search, Discovery and customer experience, with a strong understanding of how to drive engagement, conversion and business growth through product innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Own the product strategy and roadmap across Homepage, Personalisation, Search and Discovery.
• Build experiences that improve customer engagement, discovery, conversion and retention.
• Drive end-to-end product development from problem discovery, strategy execution, and launch measurement.
• Develop personalisation strategies using customer behaviour, contextual signals and data.
• Lead improvements across search relevance, ranking, recommendations, filters and discovery journeys.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, Design, Analytics and Business teams.
• Define product metrics, experimentation frameworks and A/B testing strategies to measure impact.
• Use customer insights and data to identify opportunities and prioritise high-impact initiatives.
• Build scalable product solutions for large consumer platforms with high traffic and transaction volumes.
• Mentor and lead Product Managers while establishing strong product-thinking and execution culture.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align product strategy with overall business objectives.

Requirements:

• 9+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in high-scale B2C/D2C consumer businesses.
• Strong experience working on consumer-facing digital products/platforms.
• Proven ownership of Homepage, Personalisation, Search, Discovery or Recommendation products.
• Strong understanding of customer journey, conversion funnels and consumer behaviour.
• Experience with experimentation, A/B testing, product analytics and data-driven decision-making.
• Strong understanding of Search concepts including relevance, ranking, retrieval, recommendations and personalisation.
• Experience managing and mentoring Product Managers/large product teams.
• Ability to work effectively with Engineering, Data/AI, Design and Business stakeholders.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with excellent execution and stakeholder-management skills.
• Candidates from high-scale B2C/D2C product companies, e-commerce, marketplaces, consumer internet, food-tech, mobility, travel, fintech or other large consumer platforms will be preferred.
