Head of Product Management

We are looking for an experienced Principal Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of customer-centric digital products that serve millions of users. You will play a critical role in shaping the product roadmap, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering exceptional user experiences while driving measurable business outcomes. As a principal product manager, you will work closely with engineering, design, data science, marketing, business, and leadership teams to build scalable, innovative, and data-driven products for a high-growth consumer platform.

Responsibilities:

• Define and own the long-term product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end product development from customer discovery and problem definition to launch and post-launch optimisation.
• Identify customer pain points through user research, market analysis, customer feedback, and data analytics.
• Prioritise product initiatives based on customer impact, business value, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment.
• Partner with engineering, design, analytics, marketing, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality product experiences.
• Define product requirements and write detailed PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Drive product execution using Agile methodologies and ensure timely delivery of roadmap commitments.
• Analyse product performance using key business and product metrics to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Lead experimentation through A/B testing and data-driven decision-making to improve user engagement, conversion, retention, and revenue.
• Benchmark competitors and monitor industry trends to identify new product opportunities.
• Influence executive stakeholders with clear product strategy, business cases, and performance insights.
• Mentor product managers and contribute to building a high-performing product organisation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline from a Tier-1 institute (IIT, BITS Pilani, NIT, IIIT, or other premier institutes preferred).
• MBA from a premier institute is a plus.
• 10+ years of product management experience in high-growth B2C, D2C, or consumer internet companies.
• Proven track record of building and scaling customer-facing digital products with significant user adoption.
• Strong understanding of customer journeys, product discovery, growth, engagement, retention, and monetisation.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in Agile product development environments.
• Excellent analytical skills with expertise in using product metrics and customer insights for decision-making.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority across multiple teams.

Preferred Experience:

• Candidates with experience in one or more of the following domains will be preferred: e-commerce, marketplace platforms, travel tech, FinTech, food delivery, mobility, EdTech, HealthTech, OTT and media, and quick commerce consumer SaaS.
• Technical and Product Skills: Product Strategy and Vision, Product Roadmap Planning, Customer Discovery and User Research, Product Analytics (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics, etc. ), A/B Testing and Experimentation, Agile and Scrum, PRD Creation and Product Documentation, Data-Driven Decision Making, SQL (preferred), Jira, Confluence, Figma, and Miro.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 10+ years of product management experience.
• Strong experience in B2C / D2C / consumer-facing digital platforms is mandatory.
• Experience building products at scale with millions of users.
• Bachelor's degree from a Tier-1 institute is mandatory.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership experience.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setup based out of Gurgaon.
