Mobile Testing Engineer - AI

DTDL is looking for an innovative and highly analytical AI Mobile Testing Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about leveraging AI-driven testing methodologies while working across modern mobile application ecosystems. The role will primarily focus on AI-powered quality engineering and intelligent automation, combined with hands-on expertise in mobile application testing.

As an AI Mobile Testing Engineer, you will work at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Mobile Quality Engineering, helping build scalable, intelligent, and automated testing frameworks for next-generation digital products. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to AI/ML-based testing approaches, automation strategies, and mobile testing ecosystems across Android and iOS platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AI-driven testing solutions for mobile applications.
• Build intelligent automation frameworks using AI/ML concepts and modern testing tools.
• Leverage GenAI tools to improve test generation, defect prediction, and test optimization.
• Work on automated functional, regression, API, and performance testing for mobile apps.
• Develop smart testing workflows using LLMs, AI agents, and automation platforms.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and QA teams to improve release quality.
• Analyse testing data and identify quality trends using AI-assisted insights.
• Integrate automated testing pipelines within CI/CD environments.
• Ensure application quality across Android and iOS ecosystems.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of experience in QA Automation, AI Testing, or Mobile Testing.
• Strong understanding of AI-powered testing methodologies and intelligent automation.
• Experience working with GenAI/LLM-based tools for testing optimisation.
• Hands-on experience in Mobile Testing (Android/iOS).
• Expertise in automation tools such as Appium, Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Strong understanding of API testing and automation frameworks.
• Exposure to AI-assisted test case generation and predictive testing approaches.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, or similar DevOps tools.
• Programming/scripting knowledge in Python, Java, or JavaScript preferred.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to AI agents or autonomous testing frameworks.
• Experience in telecom or large-scale digital platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud testing platforms and device farms.
• Understanding of performance and security testing concepts.
