We are looking for a highly driven Senior Product Manager II to lead the evolution of our Order Management Platform (OMS), powering large-scale B2C/D2C commerce operations. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in building and scaling platform products, a strong understanding of order lifecycle management, and a proven track record of delivering customer-centric solutions in high-growth consumer businesses. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, stakeholder management, and hands-on product execution to create scalable, reliable, and efficient order management capabilities.
The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:
Product Strategy and Vision:
- Define and own the roadmap for the Order Management Platform aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
- Build scalable platform capabilities supporting order orchestration, fulfilment, inventory allocation, returns, cancellations, exchanges, and customer communications.
- Drive long-term platform vision while balancing immediate business priorities.
Product Execution:
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery, prioritisation, requirement gathering, execution, launch, and optimisation.
- Translate business requirements into detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Operations, Supply Chain, and Business teams.
- Lead sprint planning, backlog prioritisation, release planning, and product delivery.
Platform and OMS Ownership:
- Design and enhance Order Management capabilities across: Order Capture & Processing, Order Routing & Allocation, Fulfilment Orchestration, Inventory Visibility, Returns & Refunds Management, Order Tracking & Customer Notifications, Seller/Vendor Fulfilment Workflows, Multi-Warehouse Operations
- Build highly scalable and configurable platform services supporting rapid business growth.
Data and Analytics:
- Define and monitor product KPIs.
- Leverage customer insights, operational metrics, and experimentation frameworks to improve platform performance.
- Drive product decisions using data, customer feedback, and market insights.
Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with senior leadership to align platform investments with organisational goals.
- Influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Manage dependencies across multiple products and engineering teams.
The core requirements for the job include the following:
Product Management:
- 9-12 years of Product Management experience in B2C/D2C organisations.
- Proven experience managing large-scale platform products.
- Strong expertise in Agile, Scrum, and Product Development Lifecycle.
Order Management Systems (Must Have):
- Hands-on experience building or managing Order Management Platforms (OMS).
- Deep understanding of: Order Lifecycle Management, Fulfilment Operations, Inventory Management, Returns & Reverse Logistics, Supply Chain Processes, Warehouse Management Integrations
- Experience handling high-volume transactional systems.
Technical Acumen:
- Strong understanding of APIs, Microservices, Event-Driven Architectures, and Platform Ecosystems.
- Ability to work effectively with engineering teams on complex technical solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud-based and scalable platform architectures.
Data and Analytics:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using SQL, Product Analytics, Experimentation Frameworks, and KPI tracking.
- Ability to derive actionable insights from large datasets.
Stakeholder Management:
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in E-commerce, Marketplace, Quick Commerce, RetailTech, or Consumer Internet companies.
- Exposure to Supply Chain, Fulfilment, Logistics, or Warehouse Management platforms.
- Experience scaling products, handling millions of transactions.
- An MBA from a reputed institution is a plus.
