SDET - 2

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable API automation frameworks
• Create and execute automated test cases for REST APIs and backend services
• Perform API validation using Postman, REST Assured, and OpenAPI specifications
• Develop Java-based automation scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
• Perform contract testing and validate API compatibility across services
• Manage test data and create comprehensive automation test scenarios
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and product stakeholders to ensure product quality
• Participate in code reviews and continuously improve automation processes

Requirements:

• 4.5-6 years of experience in QA Automation or SDET roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with API Testing.
• Expertise in Postman and REST Assured.
• Strong proficiency in Java-based Test Automation.
• Experience with OpenAPI Validation and Contract Testing.
• Good understanding of CI/CD Integration.
• Experience with OAuth2/JWT Authentication testing.
• Hands-on experience in Test Data Management.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Cucumber (BDD Framework).
• Performance Testing using JMeter, Gatling, or k6
• Basic understanding of Security Testing.
• Experience with WireMock or other mocking frameworks.
• Knowledge of Consumer-Driven Contract Testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
