We are looking for an experienced SDET Engineer with strong expertise in API Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Java and Rest Assured to build scalable automation frameworks and ensure the quality of backend services and APIs.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable API automation frameworks.
  • Develop and execute automated API test scripts using Rest Assured.
  • Perform API validation, functional testing, regression testing, and end-to-end testing.
  • Validate backend services and ensure API reliability and performance.
  • Analyse test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
  • Improve automation coverage and optimise testing processes.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to quality engineering best practices.

Requirements:

  • 3.8 to 6 years of experience in Automation Testing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java.
  • Expertise in API Automation using Rest Assured.
  • Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks.
  • Understanding of CI/CD and Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Mandatory Skills: Java, Rest Assured, API Automation Testing, Automation Framework Development, Functional and Regression Testing.
