Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, automation, and CI/CD. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in GCP, GKE, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, Python, Git, and automation, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and highly available infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Manage and optimize GKE and Kubernetes clusters for production workloads.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and automated software delivery.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and establish best practices for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Develop automation and tooling using Python to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
• Manage Git-based workflows and maintain infrastructure and deployment configurations.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, availability, and infrastructure health.
• Troubleshoot complex production, infrastructure, networking, and deployment-related issues and drive root-cause analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve system scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
• Drive automation initiatives across infrastructure and application deployment processes.
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and other engineering teams to improve the overall software delivery lifecycle.
• Work closely with Europe-based teams, communicate technical challenges effectively, and contribute to technical discussions.
• Contribute to DevOps standards, best practices, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Take ownership of critical infrastructure and deployment-related initiatives.

Requirements:

• Mandatory Skills: GCP, GKE, Kubernetes, Terraform, Git, CI/CD, Automation, Python.
• 5.5-8 years of relevant experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, SRE, or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP is mandatory and non-negotiable.
• Strong production experience with GKE and Kubernetes.
• Extensive experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with CI/CD automation.
• Good Python scripting and automation skills.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with production-grade cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Strong ownership and ability to independently drive DevOps/infrastructure initiatives.
• Good English communication skills, as the role involves close collaboration with the Europe team.
• Candidates must be based in Delhi NCR, as one of the interview rounds will be conducted face-to-face at the office.
• The candidate should be comfortable attending the face-to-face hiring drive/interview on 22nd August at the office.
