Senior Engineering Manager - Mobile

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager - Mobile Platforms to lead the development, scalability, and delivery of enterprise-grade mobile applications across Android and iOS ecosystems. This role requires strong expertise in mobile architecture, scalable application development, engineering leadership, cross-functional delivery, and enterprise platform engineering. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience leading high-performing mobile engineering teams and driving large-scale mobile projects from architecture to production deployment. The candidate will work closely with Product, Design, Backend Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Business stakeholders to build high-quality, scalable, and customer-centric mobile platforms.

The core responsibilities for the job include the following:

Engineering Leadership:

• Lead and scale high-performing Android and iOS engineering teams.
• Drive engineering execution, technical strategy, delivery planning, and operational excellence.
• Mentor Engineering Leads, Senior Developers, and cross-functional mobile teams.
• Establish engineering best practices, architecture standards, code quality, and release processes.

Mobile Platform Development:

• Architect and build scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms.
• Drive end-to-end mobile application development lifecycle including: Architecture and design, Development and testing, Release management, performance optimization, and Production support.
• Ensure seamless integration with backend APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Drive reusable mobile frameworks, modular architectures, and engineering productivity initiatives.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong understanding of Android application architecture, iOS application architecture, Mobile system design and scalability, RESTful APIs and backend integrations, Mobile security and performance optimization, CI/CD pipelines for mobile platforms, and Agile and modern engineering practices.
• Collaborate closely with Backend, Platform, QA, Product, and Design teams on technical execution and roadmap planning.
• Drive mobile modernization and platform transformation initiatives.

Project and Delivery Management:

• Lead large-scale mobile projects and enterprise platform initiatives.
• Manage sprint planning, prioritization, release cycles, delivery tracking, and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery across multiple mobile workstreams.
• Handle technical escalations, risk management, and dependency planning.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Partner closely with Product, UX, Backend Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Business teams.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and mobile experiences.
• Drive stakeholder alignment, roadmap execution, and engineering governance.

Requirements:

• 12-16 years of experience in Mobile Application Development / Software Engineering.
• Strong experience leading Android and iOS engineering teams.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise or consumer mobile applications.
• Deep expertise in the Android ecosystem, iOS ecosystem, Mobile architecture, Scalable application development, System design and performance optimization.
• Strong experience managing engineering teams, projects, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
