Sr. Backend Engineer - Java

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems using Java technologiesThe ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in building scalable microservices-based applications, REST APIs, cloud deployments, and distributed systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performing, and enterprise-grade solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain microservices-based architecture.
• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services for enterprise applications.
• Participate in system design discussions (HLD & LLD).
• Optimise application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Work with databases, caching mechanisms, and messaging systems.
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams.
• Ensure clean coding standards, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement efficient solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Core Java, Java 8/11/17
• Hands-on expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience in developing REST APIs and backend integrations.
• Knowledge of system design (HLD & LLD) concepts.
• Experience with databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
