Job Purpose

The Business Analyst & Project Manager is part of the DGF Europe IT Product Management, AI & Digital Enablement team, responsible for analyzing business needs, shaping digital improvement opportunities, and driving initiatives from initial idea through implementation.

The role combines strong business analysis and structured problem-solving with hands-on project management. Working closely with the Head of AI & Digital Enablement, product colleagues, business stakeholders and technical teams, the role translates business challenges into well-defined requirements and solution concepts while ensuring projects are effectively planned, coordinated and delivered.

The role requires sufficient digital, data and AI understanding to effectively bridge business and technical teams. Respective candidates should also show strong Project Management skills.

What you will do

• Work with business stakeholders to understand processes, pain points, business needs and improvement opportunities, and translate them into clearly defined problems, requirements and use cases.
• Conduct business, process and data analysis, including As-Is/To-Be analysis, root-cause analysis, gap analysis, KPI definition and business impact assessment.
• Facilitate discovery and requirements workshops and translate findings into business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and process flows.
• Use data to validate business problems and opportunities through tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL and Power Query, and turn findings into actionable business insights.
• Assess potential solution options across process improvement, analytics, automation, Power Platform, AI/GenAI and existing IT solutions, together with relevant technical teams.
• Develop business cases and value assessments, including expected benefits, effort, dependencies, risks and measurable success criteria.
• Create and maintain project plans, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, decisions and action tracking.
• Coordinate projects and workstreams across business, IT, product teams, developers, vendors and other stakeholders, ensuring clear ownership and follow-up.
• Prepare concise project status reporting, management updates and decision materials, escalating risks and issues when required.
• Support projects through solution definition, UAT, implementation, rollout and benefits realization, ensuring the delivered solution addresses the original business need.
• Continuously explore how data, digitalization, automation and AI can improve business processes and create measurable business value.

What you bring

• University degree in Business, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in Business Analysis, IT/Digital Project Management, digital transformation, consulting or a related role.
• Strong practical Business Analysis skills, including requirements engineering, process mapping, root-cause analysis, stakeholder analysis, use cases, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Solid Project Management skills covering project planning, milestones, stakeholder coordination, dependencies, reporting and delivery follow-up.
• Good analytical capabilities and experience working with Excel and Power BI; practical knowledge of SQL and Power Query is beneficial.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery approaches and experience supporting UAT and implementation.
• Good understanding of digital technologies and preferably exposure to Power Platform, automation, data/analytics, AI/GenAI or Copilot technologies.
• Sufficient technical understanding of APIs, integrations, databases and data flows to communicate effectively with technical teams; hands-on software development is not required.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to bring structure to ambiguous problems and independently drive topics forward.
• Fluent English and ability to work effectively in an international, cross-functional environment.
