As a Credit Analyst, you will play a vital role in our back-office operations, specifically within the CLM Domestic BFSI department. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough credit analyses and evaluations, ensuring that our lending decisions are well-informed and aligned with our risk management strategies. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health and stability of our organization.
  • Conduct comprehensive credit analyses, including financial statement analysis and cash flow projections.
  • Evaluate creditworthiness of individuals and businesses, considering various factors such as credit history, financial stability, and industry trends.
  • Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations, providing insights to support lending decisions.
  • Monitor and assess credit risk, implementing strategies to mitigate potential losses.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and other team members to ensure consistent and accurate credit assessments.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic factors impacting credit risk.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all credit-related activities.
  • Provide support and guidance to customers throughout the credit application process.
  • Assist in developing and implementing credit policies and procedures to enhance risk management practices.
  • Participate in periodic reviews of existing credit facilities, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in credit analysis or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Proficiency in using financial analysis tools and software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in credit assessments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the financial industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying potential risks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for financial modeling and analysis.
