QA Tester

We are seeking a QA / Test Engineer who is equally comfortable with manual and automation testing. You will own the quality of Doqfy's platform end-to-end, designing test strategies, executing functional and regression test cycles, and building automation suites that let us ship confidently and frequently. Because our products handle legally binding agreements, identity verification, and financial workflows, accuracy and reliability are non-negotiable.

Responsibilities:

• Review requirements and technical designs to prepare detailed, well-structured test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Execute manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, cross-browser, and API testing across web applications.
• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for web and API layers (e. g., Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright; Postman/REST-assured or pytest for APIs).
• Log, track, and triage defects with clear reproduction steps; verify fixes and manage the defect lifecycle in tools such as Jira.
• Perform regression and smoke testing for every release; contribute to release sign-off criteria.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and report on test coverage and quality metrics.
• Conduct basic performance, security, and data-validation checks relevant to document, signature, and KYC workflows.
• Work closely with developers and product managers to reproduce issues, clarify expected behaviour, and continuously improve quality processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in software testing, covering both manual and automation testing.
• Strong grasp of QA fundamentals, SDLC/STLC, test design techniques, defect lifecycle, and severity/priority classification.
• Hands-on experience with at least one web automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright) and a scripting language (Python or JavaScript preferred).
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman or equivalent tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation habits, and communication skills.

Good to Have:

• ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6) or security testing basics.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Prior experience testing fintech, legal tech, or other compliance-heavy products.
