About the Role
We are looking for an IT Operations Engineer to join our Nordic IT Operations team and support our Swedish sites, serving approximately 640 employees across offices and manufacturing facilities.
In this role, you will provide first and second line IT support, helping to ensure stable, secure and efficient IT services across the business. You will support end users, maintain IT equipment, contribute to infrastructure improvements, and participate in both local and Nordic IT projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their IT career who enjoys solving technical challenges, working closely with users, and developing their skills in a modern and international IT environment.
Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities
End User Support
- Provide second and third-line technical support to users.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access requests.
- Escalate complex issues when required.
IT Operations
- Support infrastructure projects, including network improvements and hardware lifecycle management.
- Provide support during IT incidents and service outages.
- Install, configure, replace, and maintain IT equipment.
- Support IT asset inventory, procurement, and disposal activities.
- Support requests for vulnerability patching and configuration.
Microsoft 365 Administration
- Assist with account management within the M365 environment.
- Support collaboration and productivity tools.
Documentation and Compliance
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Create and update support procedures and user guides.
- Ensure compliance and promote awareness of IT security policies.
- Support compliance and audit-related activities.
Project Support
- Participate in local and Nordic IT projects.
- Assist with testing deployment activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance IT service delivery.
About You
We are looking for someone who enjoys helping others and is passionate about technology. You are organised, service-minded and eager to learn. You communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels and enjoy working collaboratively to solve problems.
You have gained at least 1-2 years of experience in IT support, service desk, or a similar technical role, with exposure to Microsoft 365, ticket management systems, and Active Directory. In addition, you take ownership of your work, have a structured approach to troubleshooting and are motivated by delivering reliable and efficient IT support in a fast-paced environment.
Whether you have recently started your IT career or already gained some experience in a support role, you are keen to continue growing your technical expertise while contributing to the success of the business.
You hold a degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Information Technology.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and services.
- Experience installing and configuring IT hardware.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting methodologies.
- Understanding of incident and request management processes.
- Experience with ticketing systems.
- Basic awareness of ITIL principles.
Experience with Windows Server enviroments, SAP or ERP systems, and VPN/remote access tool knowledge is a plus! Nevertheless, we value curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn.

The position is a permanent, full-time role and reports to the IT Operations Team Leader. A 6-month probationary period applies.
The starting date will be agreed upon individually; however, our ambition is to have the position filled as soon as possible.
