MS DYNAMICS 365 CRM - DevOps & Automation Specialist

Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM/Customer Engagement and Power Platform solutions using Azure DevOps.

• Automate build, validation, packaging, deployment, and release processes across development, test, UAT, staging, and production environments.
• Manage Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform ALM activities including solution export/import, managed and unmanaged solutions, versioning, dependency validation, and environment promotion.
• Configure and maintain Azure DevOps repositories, branching strategies, YAML pipelines, service connections, release approvals, and deployment gates. • Use Microsoft Power Platform Build Tools, Power Platform CLI, PowerShell, and related automation scripts to standardize deployment and environment operations.
• Support automated quality checks such as solution checker, static analysis, configuration validation, smoke testing, and release readiness reviews.
• Coordinate release planning, deployment windows, rollback procedures, production cutover activities, and post-deployment validation with application and business teams.
• Maintain environment strategy, tenant governance, security access, Dataverse configuration alignment, and deployment documentation.
• Troubleshoot deployment failures, integration release issues, pipeline execution errors, and environment synchronization problems.
• Implement monitoring, logging, telemetry, and release reporting using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and Azure DevOps dashboards where applicable.
• Prepare and maintain DevOps runbooks, deployment guides, release notes, environment inventory, automation scripts, and operational handover documentation. Basic Qualifications: • 4-7 years of relevant experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM/Customer Engagement, Power Platform, DevOps, release management, or automation engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Git repositories, branching models, pull requests, build pipelines, release pipelines, approvals, and deployment governance.
• Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 CRM/Customer Engagement solution lifecycle, Dataverse environments, managed/unmanaged solutions, dependencies, patches, and upgrades. • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform Build Tools, Power Platform CLI, PowerShell scripting, YAML pipelines, and deployment automation.
• Good knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, connectors, environment variables, connection references, security roles, and application lifecycle management.
• Ability to support CRM development teams working with plugins, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, .NET, Web API integrations, custom connectors, and reusable components.
• Experience coordinating releases across multiple environments including Dev, Test, UAT, PreProduction, and Production.
• Familiarity with automated testing, smoke testing, solution checker, quality gates, security reviews, and deployment validation activities.
• Working knowledge of Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Key Vault, App Services, Application Insights, and Azure Monitor is preferred.
• Strong documentation skills covering deployment plans, release notes, rollback steps, technical runbooks, and production support handover documents.
• Prior experience supporting enterprise clients in Egypt, the Middle East, or regional delivery centers is preferred; Arabic language capability is an advantage. Other Qualifications:
• Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Power Platform, Azure DevOps, Azure Administrator, or Azure Developer are preferred.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices, automated testing frameworks, release governance, deployment approvals, and compliance-driven delivery models is an advantage.
• Exposure to GitHub Actions, Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, infrastructure-as-code, or environment provisioning automation is a plus.
• Knowledge of regional delivery requirements, data protection expectations, cybersecurity controls, and enterprise support models in Egypt and the wider MEA region is desirable.
