Are you ready to be the architect of revenue optimization? Scripps is seeking a Direct Response, Operations Manager to lead the optimization of direct response revenue on ION and Bounce networks through coordinated inventory allocation, data-driven pricing strategies, and streamlined operational processes.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead strategic initiatives to maximize inventory value and Direct Response.
- Monitor and analyze real time inventory availability and utilization patterns across ION and Bounce networks.
- Provide Direct Response rate recommendations for optimal inventory clearance and allocation.
- Contribute to sports inventory monetization strategies leveraging the full Scripps enterprise offerings and footprint.
- Serve as an authority on Wide Orbit Sales & P&I functionalities, setting process workflows.
- Deliver strategic insights and recommendations to senior management to shape revenue forecasting, pricing, and long-term budgeting strategies.
- Develop standardized reporting dashboards for inventory and pricing metrics for Direct Response.
- Identify opportunities for workflow automation and efficiency improvements.
- Serve as primary point of contact between Sales and P&I management.
- Participate in training and development of DR Sales Assistants, establishing best practices and fostering a culture of excellence.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience
- Generally, 8+ years of experience in related field preferred
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Deep understanding of advertising and media sales industry, specifically linear TV media planning and inventory management
- Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with Ad Sales systems
- Experience working with sales teams and cross-functional partners
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented with ability to meet deadlines

COMPENSATION RANGE:
Annual Salary: $95,000.00 - 120000Pursuant to state and local salary transparency laws, the salary range posted is specific to candidates who will perform this work in New York.ADDITIONAL BENEFITS:
