Accountant

Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant with 3–5 years of practical accounting experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling daily accounting transactions, reviewing financial documents, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records in accordance with the company's accounting procedures.

• Record and review daily accounting transactions and journal entries.

• Review invoices and supporting financial documents for accuracy and completeness.

• Monitor customer and supplier accounts and reconcile outstanding balances.

• Prepare and review periodic financial reports and account statements.

• Monitor revenues and expenses and perform the necessary accounting adjustments.

• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.

• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.

• Use accounting software and Microsoft Excel to record transactions and prepare reports.

• Ensure compliance with the company's accounting policies and procedures.

• Maintain the confidentiality of financial information.

Requirements

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, preferably in Accounting.

• 3–5 years of practical experience in accounting.

• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Experience with accounting software is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.
