About the Role

This role is for our client in the software development sector. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with a team to design, build, and maintain software applications. The position involves analyzing customer information needs, developing application specifications, and providing IT development support. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, experience with Crystal Reports, and proficiency in .NET applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop application specifications by analyzing and assisting in the development of application specifications.
• Design, build, and maintain Reports by designing, building, and maintaining Crystal Reports, Widgets, Forms, Power Apps, and .NET applications/services.
• Analyze customers’ information needs by analyzing customers’ information needs, business problems, and business opportunities and assist in determining the most efficient and effective systems/programming solutions.
• Function as the IT subject matter expert for the assigned applicant areas.
• Provide an IT development support role for assigned tasks.
• Maintain, support, and upgrade existing systems and applications needed to keep the department’s software solutions running.
• Work within a team environment in both a lead and subordinate position depending on the various project’s scope.
• Ensure quality development and operation of assigned tasks.
• Design, maintain, and code programs using standard programming languages.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor of Information Systems or Computer Science and/or 5+ years of application development experience.
• Strong understanding/abilities with writing SQL functions, queries, stored procedures, and views.
• Microsoft SQL Server development related to RDBMS design, stored procedures, UDF, table structures, triggers, transactions, table variables.
